This week we were very excited because we got to make up our own stories. First we got to make a cartoon picture and then we made up an imaginative story to go with that picture.

Needs and Wants

We have been learning about the difference between what we need and what we want. This afternoon we recorded our ideas on Vocaroo.

Shapes in our Classroom

Today we all took a photo of a shape that we could see in our class at Maths time and then made it into a slide show.

What if there were NO Televisions?

These are the ideas that LC 5 came up with:

Yellow Hat - Good Points
- no movies would be able to scare you.
- you wouldn't have to see a fuzzy T.V.
- you wouldn't sit all day and watch T.V, but do other things.
- you would do more exercise and not sit in front of the T.V.
- your parents wouldn't have to stop you from watching T.V.
- you could make up new games and play them.

Black Hat - Bad Points
- you would get bored.
- if there was something important on the news you would miss it.
- you couldn't find out what the weather was.
- no games like xbox.
- you would miss your favourite TV programmes.
- no ads to sell us things.

Our Soft Toys

Last week we got to bring a soft toy to our class. Tayla took a photo of us with our beautiful soft toys and we wrote a description about them. One of the groups made a photo story with their descriptions.
