What if there were NO Televisions?

These are the ideas that LC 5 came up with:

Yellow Hat - Good Points
- no movies would be able to scare you.
- you wouldn't have to see a fuzzy T.V.
- you wouldn't sit all day and watch T.V, but do other things.
- you would do more exercise and not sit in front of the T.V.
- your parents wouldn't have to stop you from watching T.V.
- you could make up new games and play them.

Black Hat - Bad Points
- you would get bored.
- if there was something important on the news you would miss it.
- you couldn't find out what the weather was.
- no games like xbox.
- you would miss your favourite TV programmes.
- no ads to sell us things.

Can you think of any more good or bad things about having no T.V?

  10. I think families used to play a lot more board games and read books. One of my children had a special No Television Week at school and recorded what they did each evening. Have you tried a night without TV?
I loved reading your comments! Hi to Miss R.

Laura: you could spend more time practicing your swimming so you don't drown.

Ruben: you wouldn't be lazy and you could play outside games and get fit.

Jessica: it would be bad because if there was a natural disaster, like a volcano, you wouldn't know about it.

Kelsey:you wouldn't miss special things because your favorite show was on.

Jake Dallow: if you watch dangerous things on tv you might go outside and do dangerous that you learnt on there.

  15. Well done children you have got lots of comments from your friends who have written really clever comments. I really like my TV and I think it's great for entertainment, relaxation, learning new things BUT you need to only watch it SOMETIMES!
