Autumn Leaves

Today we went for a walk around our school looking at all the Autumn leaves. When we came back we made a "Wordle" with as many adjectives and verbs we could think of to describe the leaves. We all did some descriptive writing about the leaves and some of us recorded our writing on a photostory.
Wordle: Autumn

  1. We loved listening to all the words the kids in LC5 came up with to describe the autumn leaves. Well done guys!! You are doing a great job of using expression in your voices. From Alex and his mum.

  2. I really enjoyed looking at all the fabulous words you thought of about autumn leaves. Even the colours on your wordle made me think of autumn. Your photostory was cool too. I wonder what you'll be able to write about in the winter. Brrrrr.
You might like to ask Miss R if you can visit our class blog
to see what we've been up to this year.

  3. I really enjoyed reading your wordle and watching your photostory. We have been using photostory too this week for descriptive writing about New Zealand food - yum, yum! Miss R might like to try next time because there might be a leaf shape you could use for your words which is fun.

  4. i really enjoyed watching your movie LC5. You are using heaps of expression in your writing. From Julia Humphries LC5 Palmerston North.
